​​Ipswich was chosen over Victoria for $5bn federal government contract to build 211 armoured vehicles for the Australian Army. The factory will be located in Redbank, 4km from Tree Creek Estate. 

 

$14bn spent on master planned city of Springfield of a total $85bn planned. The border of Springfield is 1.4km from Goodna and the Springfield CBD is 6km from Tree Creek Estate.

$150m redevelopment of Ipswich CBD currently underway, due for completion 2019.

$400m upgrade of Ipswich Motorway currently underway, due for completion by 2020. Tree Creek Estate is 1.5km from the Ipswich Motorway.

Planned $10bn National Inland Rail Project connecting Melbourne and Brisbane runs through Ipswich. 100km of new rail track is proposed for Ipswich at a cost of $2.2bn. Due for completion by 2024.

Ipswich is home to Amberly Air Force Base, the nations largest military base. A $1.2bn upgrade is currently underway at the base due for completion by 2020.

Work commenced on $1.5bn Ripley Town Centre in 2018.

$124m expansion and redevelopment of the Ipswich Hospital was announced in March 2018 with construction to start in 2020.

​A new $70m stadium and headquarters for the Brisbane Lions AFL club has been proposed for Ipswich. The proposed stadium will be located 6km from Tree Creek Estate.

A purpose built $190m train maintenance centres was completed in Ipswich in 2016. The facility will be used to test and maintain 75 new trains currently being delivered to South East Queensland as part of a $4.4bn contract to build and maintain the vehicles.
