Ipswich was chosen over Victoria for $5bn federal government contract to build 211 armoured vehicles for the Australian Army. The factory will be located in Redbank, 4km from Tree Creek Estate.
$14bn spent on master planned city of Springfield of a total $85bn planned. The border of Springfield is 1.4km from Goodna and the Springfield CBD is 6km from Tree Creek Estate.
